2025 Flag Football Youth
Algona Family YMCA Youth Soccer is a developmental, recreational program for boys and girls in Pre-K/Kindergarten through 4th grade. The program’s objectives are: development of flag football skills, teaching sportsmanship and fair play, socialization among teammates and other teams, and enjoying the sport of flag football.
How often are practices?
Kids will practice on Monday and Thursday. For the 1st 4 weeks and Monday and Saturday for the 2nd 4 weeks.
Will practices be at the Y?
All practices will be held on the field behind Grace Church, which is right next to the Y.
Where will games be played?
All of the games will be held on the field behind Grace Church. We have games during the last 3 weeks of the program.
What does my child need to bring?
Please just make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes.
1st Grade
The program will run from September 8th through October 18th.
K-Prep & Kindergarten will meet at 4:15 on Mondays and Thursdays.
1st Grade will meet at 5:00 on Mondays and Thursdays.
2nd & 3rd Grade will meet at 5:45 on Mondays and Thursdays.
Saturday times are to be determined.
