Basketball Rookie

You are never too young to enjoy fitness and team sports. Build confidence, teamwork, and decision making skills through the basketball skills of passing, dribbling, ball handling, shooting skills.

Rookie Basketball gives youth one more chance to focus on skills before moving up to our YMCA Youth Basketball Program.

To make this program a success for your child please consider volunteering to help.

How often are practices?
Kids will practice once a week.

Will practices be at the Y?
All practices will be in the Moss Gym (large gym) at the Y.

What does my child need to bring?
Bring Water. Make sure child is wearing tennis shoes.
