Algona Family YMCA Youth Coach-Pitch is a developmental, recreational program for boys and girls in Pre-K/Kindergarten though 1st grade. The program’s objectives are: development of baseball skills, teaching sportsmanship and fair play, socialization among teammates and other teams, and enjoying the sport of baseball.

How often are practices?
Kids will practice twice a week.

Will practices be at the Y?
All practices will be held at the ball diamonds at Bertha Godfrey Elementary School.

Where will games be played?
All games will be held at the ball diamonds at Bertha Godfrey Elementary School. We have games during the last 3 weeks of the program.

What does my child need to bring?
Please have your child bring a baseball glove. We will provide balls, bats and helmets.
